Itinerary
We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. From exploring historic landmarks to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is packed with adventure and excitement. Join us as we take you on a journey through some of the most fascinating destinations in the world.
Your bike ride begins with a gradual ascent as you head south along the main dirt road in Arusha National Park. As you cycle, you’ll pass by families of baboons and blue monkeys, adding a touch of wildlife to your adventure.
After about 2.5 km, you’ll take a 1 km detour to visit the grave of Margarete Trappe, also known as the “Iron Lady.” Trappe was a pioneering missionary and renowned huntress, and you’ll receive a brief history lesson on her influence and legacy in the region.
Returning to the main road, you’ll continue for about 5 km before turning right into the Kilinga Loop. This 7 km loop winds through dense, lush forest. Due to the canopy cover, some sections of the path can be muddy, making this the most challenging yet exhilarating part of the ride.
After completing the Kilinga Loop, you’ll cycle gradually downhill for about 3 km along the main dirt road, concluding your tour at the Ngongongare Gate.
